Batteries and production waste may, according to the case, be classified in the "hazardous waste" category.
The company meets the requirements set by the European regulations, and more particularly the Batteries Directive 2006/66/EC on the lifecycle of batteries and accumulators.
Coming from abroad, shipping must comply with Regulation 1013/2006/EC of the European Parliament and Council dated 14 June 2006 on cross-border shipments of hazardous waste.
This Regulation requires, according to waste type, the setting up of an annual notification file that must be validated by all the authorities affected by the shipment (departure, transit, destination).
