After processing batteries at end of life obtained from numerous international sources, SNAM concentrates metals, including some considered as strategic by the Ministère du Redressement Productif (French Ministry for Productive Recovery).
From the list of 16 priority materials drawn up by the COMES* GT1**, SNAM reinjects 9 metals derived from its recycling activity into the European economy:
- Aluminium
- Cobalt
- Copper
- Iron
- Lithium
- Nickel
- Platinum
- Neodymium
- Titanium
SNAM therefore plays a major role in increasing the procurement safety required to secure sustainable competitiveness for the French and European economy.
